In the summer of 2023, we went road tripping through Dinosaur National Monument and Pearl Lake. The day we left Pearl Lake State Park, we were headed to Colorado’s Front Range to pick up my new rescue dog, Cimarron.
I decided to take the back roads and visit the Little Snake River Museum in Savery, WY. I serve on the Board of the Friends of the Little Snake River Museum and it was a nice adventure to visit in person.
If you are interested in the history of livestock business in the region (including sheep wagons) or the range wars, this museum is a “must stop.” I have several photos on my blog (link below) that show the museum’s displays. The wagons are amazing but my favorite is the poster display on the range wars.
