Welcome!
Pearl Lake State Park in Northwestern Colorado is named for my grandmother, Pearl Hartt — and I spent my childhood summers on that land before the park was ever built. Those years left me with the warmest memories of my life and a deep connection to the history of this place.
The Pearl Lake Heritage Collection is my way of bringing that story into handcrafted form. Each piece is hand-cast and hand-painted in Montrose, Colorado — rooted in the high desert and shaped by the history of the families who ranched, homesteaded, and built something lasting in this corner of the West.

About Art from the Hartt
Art from the Hartt is a one-woman handcraft studio on the Colorado Plateau. I make hand-cast cement gnomes and planters, hypertufa pots, hand-painted tile clocks, and wall art — all finished by hand in small batches. The Pearl Lake Heritage Collection is a growing line inspired by family history, archival photos, and the landscape of Northwestern Colorado.
Have a piece in mind? Reach out on Facebook or by email — I love a good conversation about the history and the craft.
