Unveiling the Legacy of Pearl Lake: Meet Pearl Hartt and Her Family

Pearl Lake State Park is named for my grandmother, M. Pearl Hartt and this page is the place to meet my grandma and my other family members.

My mom’s family lived in Rawlins in the winter and granddad (John Kelly Hartt) summered the sheep in Colorado starting in the early 1900s. They had 6 daughters (I took mom’s family name as an adult) and the family summered on the shores of where Pearl Lake now stands.
